Barclay and Treaty #6

In August of 1876, native tribes, including the Cree, Assiniboine, and the Ojibwe, arrived at Fort Carlton, Saskatchewan to meet with representatives of the Canadian government to negotiate land treaty
boundaries.

Also present were members of the newly formed North-West Mounted Police, including young Constable Henry Barclay.

Through no fault of his own, Barclay becomes caught up in the negotiations much to the chagrin of his superiors.
